WWFU MIAMI - RADIO STATION EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
The City of Miami is looking for a unique, talented, and self-motivated full-time Radio Station Executive Director/Roleplayer to take on the role and responsibilities of managing and operating the Miami Radio Station. 

The Executive Director oversees all aspects of WWFU Radio’s Dominions of Darkness operations, including sales, programming, marketing, and community engagement. This role directs overall market strategy, day-to-day station operations, and ensures alignment with Dominions of Darkness mission and values. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of Second Life, RPG experience, exceptional leadership abilities, and a passion for developing people and building the Dominions of Darkness brand with your audiences and advertisers.

This position reports to the City of Miami and Radio Station Owner, Sterrane Honorem (sterrane.lanzet).

Requirements:
Because this special roll relies heavily on actual management skills, the City of Miami will give preference to a Roleplayer that has any or all of the following experience:
  • Previous DJ experience (in RL or SL) and able to fill in as a DJ when needed.
  • A solid understanding of streaming music in SL.
  • An eclectic appreciation for all types of music genres.
  • Proven management experience in recruiting and and managing a staff of employees:
    • DJs
    • Event/Marketing/Advertising staff
  • Adequate time available most days to be in SL in the City of Miami Sim to manage staff, sell advertising and keep the Radio Station running smoothly on daily basis - a minimum of 5 hours non-rp hours a week.
  • Preference given to candidates who have owned/operated/worked at a Second Life Radio Station or one in Real Life. 
  • A solid understanding of selling, marketing and creating radio advertising.
  • AI experience helpful, but not required.

Bonuses

  • $2000L bonus for bringing in a new advertiser who has not advertised on WWFU for at least 6 months.
  • $2000L bonus for recruited new DJs that work a minimum of one shift a week for at least 4 weeks.

Responsibilities

While this is a Roleplay position of owning the only Radio Station in the City of Miami, it is also a Management position that will require the following responsibilities:
  • Recruiting, hiring and training DJs
  • Managing DJ Schedules
  • Creating fun promotions, contests or events that engage your radio audience.
  • Managing the Radio Station Skyscraper and allocating offices
  • Selling advertising space:
    • Writing/Creating Ads
    • Managing the Ad Schedule and Run Times
    • Creating and managing the advertising time slots
The Miami Radio Station Owner will occupy the office tower and run it just like a legitimate SL business with the potential of earning $L for managing, creating and selling SL advertising. The Radio Station Owner will be in charge of the Miami Sim's Music Stream (set up done by Dominions of Darkness), giving stream permissions to DJs and maintaining the schedules for:
      • Programing: Music Genre Time Slots
      • DJ Schedules
      • Advertising Time Slots (DJ delivered or pre-recorded)
      • Advertising Sales Accounting
